I received several updates yesterday / last night concerning Ian’s viewing. I’m told he is wearing his Fire Department uniform, that he’s holding his pager and his casket is painted fire engine red. I’ve also been made aware that the Brothers and Sisters from Lancaster City have sent an Honor Guard detail….. a very fitting send off for our friend.
How Ian lived has and continues to touch many of us…. me included. Again I’ll say that I take comfort in knowing that my little buddy is no longer suffering. He is at peace and doesn’t have to fight any more.
Friends and family will take Ian to his final resting place this morning at 11am. I will be live streaming the services below and hope you’ll join us…. may he rest in peace.
