“America’s Fire Captain?”

Statter videoLMAO … That’s what Dave Statter (Statter911.com) called me in a recent video.

I think he was just trying to smooze and trick me into attending his Birthday party this weekend in Washington DC.

I didn’t have the heart to tell him that I was coming anyway… there’s NO WAY I’d miss this event.

If you haven’t heard, Dave’s web site, Statter 911.com (which Rhett Fleitz created right after Al Gore invented the internet) is turning 8 years old. That’s 8 years as a HUGE success in the Fire / EMS Blogging industry.

As it turns out, Dave himself is also celebrating a Birthday as he is turning 60 years old … although Hillary and Sam (his wife and son) have some valid arguments as to how much success is involved there…LOL

Statter and Scores galsAnyways, in honor of these two milestones; Dave is throwing a HUGE party / event this Sunday April 12, 2015 (I wonder where he ever got that idea?).

We all know that Statter is FAMOUS for throwing EPIC parties!

Hell, he even picked Georgetown as the location so instead of his regular “Scores” Girls, maybe we will get to see some “Good Guys” talent?

Dave Statter and Lt Rhett Fleitz Firehouse Expo 2012All kidding aside, it’s going to be a GREAT event and tickets are only $30.00.

An entry ticket (that can not be purchased at the door) is good for some free food and a drink ticket! What’s even better is that all proceeds from the party will benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation!

Yea… you can make a difference by showing up and raising a glass with us.

The Fire Critic (Rhett Fleitz) and I will be there (I couldn’t find a sitter) as I’m sure many other top Fire Service leaders / mentors will be. If at all possible, you’ll want to make this event. Actually, I think Rhett (The Fire Critic) is even bringing his wife… Dave’s daughter-in-law) I hope she wears that pink dress!

Even if you can’t attend, it’s worth your while to purchase a ticket or make a donation to the NFFF. It’s quick and easy to do…. simply follow the link below…

Also, take the time to check out the video Dave made announcing the party … it’s pretty good.

Purchase your ticket or make a donation NOW…. If at all possible, plan on attending, we’d LOVE to see ya there (and who knows what we may get into afterwards!)
