Proud to be an American ….

Picture1Hopefully I don’t have to tell you or anyone else.

Hopefully, you can tell by my actions and the words I write.

I am PROUD to be an American and I understand all too well the sacrifices made to give me the HONOR of saying that.

Although my dreams of becoming a United States Marine never came to fruition, my family has a deep history of Military (and Civil) Service (more on that in a post tomorrow).

On this Memorial Day Weekend I wanted to share just a couple things with you as well as wish everyone a SAFE and Happy Holiday weekend. I also hope that you are spending it with friends and family while remembering why we’re able to do so.

For those of you deployed, serving our Country, pulling a tour or on duty (military or public safety) somewhere, here or abroad …. THANK YOU. For the families of those who have lost a loved one in Service, THANK YOU as well! We are thinking of you and remembering your loved one this weekend!
