The Fire Critic (Rhett Fleitz), Andrew Catron (The Model City Firefighter) and I just attended the South Atlantic Fire Rescue Expo in Raleigh, NC.... WE HAD A BLAST!

The two beautiful young ladies by his side in the picture above right worked at what I could only imagine being some type of Sports Bar. The place was called "Scores". I assume it's one of those places that have twenty of so televisions on the walls so that their customers can keep up the "scores" of their favorite sport / game?

I seen friends old and new. Many I had never met before face to face and several I wouldn't hesitate to go through doors with.

The Chief was very impressed that I made the trip from Va just to attend their Bash. I explained to him that it's simply part of what Rhett and I do, that the Brotherhood knows no boundaries.... there are no borders, County or State lines.

Crews were able to locate one person dead inside the home. Further details of the fire, the name, age etc of the victim can not be released at this time. Notification of family members of the deceased are still pending and the investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
