So what are your thoughts? Is it the Chiefs who control"the strings" or is it City / County Administration (the politicians )? Is the old saying about the "poop" running down hill true or do we .... the "boots on the street" also have a say in the direction a Department takes?

Again, getting an attack line into service quickly and efficiently resulted in the saving of lives and property. The fire was held to the room of origin but a couple units sustained water damage while the entire building suffered smoke damage.
Read More »Working fire! 3 firefighters injured, 3 civilians displaced, $225,000 in damages and it’s just the first day of the cycle!
The fire was mainly contained to the "attic" area. Crews were met with high heat stretching in to the seat. The house had a slate roof on a steep pitch which made ventilating a little interesting.
