by 11pm most of the men's ties are off and around their heads like sweat bands. I've even been to a few where the dresses were over their heads too ...LMAO.

That's what customer service is all about. It's what our job is about. It's why we're here. If I can't help a 90 year old couple in my first due then I may as well go home.

When you hear the word "Brotherhood" spoken, most of us associate it with the larger Departments in the Country. The FDNY always comes to mind for most but, you hardly ever hear about the "small town USA" Volunteer Fire Company.

I'm not sure what I've done to deserve the life I've been given this past year but I am truly THANKFUL. Together, Rhett and I have made the journey of a lifetime in just a few short years. I can only imagine what 2012 will bring us.

Here in "The Noke", we take a lot on pride in holding a majority of our fires to "room and content". Despite older homes and balloon construction, we do a good job at getting water on the fire quickly and efficiently.
