It was an amazing experience and I was HONORED to have our "Commander in Chief" in attendance. I'll say right here that I've read what I consider to be "negative" comments on other posts / sites and I'm ashamed.

When I talk about "Take", Im talking about knowledge, experience, networking, friendships, ideas etc. What was your "take" from FDIC? I hope everyone who attends comes away with SOMETHING... if you didn't / don't, it's your own fault. I'm curious as to what it was for you (the "take").

They knew our "reach" and the trust many of you put into what we do and say so they elected us to represent you. It was an HONOR for us to work with these folks and even more so to be ale to introduce you to them. If you've never heard of Demers Ambulance, NOW YOU HAVE!

Live streaming of Lt. Walsh's funeral is scheduled for today at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church in Watertown. You can view the service from the player or links below. Lt. Edward J. Walsh Jr was killed, along with Firefighter Michael Kennedy at the fatal 9 alarm fire on Beacon Street a week ago. Firefighter Kennedy's funeral is scheduled for Thursday.

I was able to attend the Weissman service but was on duty yesterday during Whitacre's Funeral. Both were well attended and those in attendance should be proud that our Brotherhood was well represented. Yes... our "Brotherhood". These families got to see first hand over the past few days and week what all the "hype" and Brotherhood "talk" is about. They experienced it first hand. If you attended one of the services.... you did too.
