2 Great events and a miracle in Roanoke

That Chief gave the main reason for closing stations as that they could not accommodate "modern day fire equipment" ... they wouldn't fit. I guess he was thinking it was easier to build new stations rather than put a little extra thought into out truck specs.

"Old School" Captains …

There was a "life lesson" or some sort of Fire Department training in every task. They worked hard and expected the same of you. There was never an option other than "the right thing" and they ALWAYS looked after their members.
