1604447_213634658836127_452317783_nIf you’ve followed this site for any time now, you’ve heard me talk about the “F.O.O.L.S” or Fraternal Order Of Leatherheads Society (link) .

The Fire Critic (Rhett Fleitz) and I are PROUD “card carrying members”!

Actually, the Chapter we belong to, Valley Of The FOOLS (link) is one of the newest Chapters of the Organization. We cover a HUGE part of Western Virginia and remain open to new members.

I Introduce to you…The Valley of the FOOLS Click HERE.

One of the greatest things about the FOOLS is that there are NO POLITICAL BOUNDARIES. There is no room for such within our Mission (it reads as follows) …

“The F.O.O.L.S. exemplify the true meaning of the Brotherhood by providing training opportunities to Brother and Sister Firefighters worldwide.  We organize benefits to assist not only a firefighter and their families in need, but our communities as well. The F.O.O.L.S. exist to strengthen the Brotherhood of our chosen profession and fuel the flame of passion we have for our calling”.

Valley Of The FOOLSIf you are a firefighter who “gets it” then this is the group for you!

And, if you’re within driving distance of Roanoke, then this Saturday (4/19/2014) is the perfect opportunity!
