3rd Child dies following fatal Galax, Va house fire

My thoughts and prayers are with the Delp family as well as with the firefighters and First Responders who made a valiant effort in attempting their rescue. I know some of the responders personally and have spoken with them. Obviously, their hearts are heavy but it appears they have a good support network in place and are utilizing it.

Former Board of Director calls for unfriending of “supposed” Firefighter non-profit.

If you need proof for yourself that the NFE is not what it appears- this should do it: I have seen several new t-shirt campaigns launched by the National Firefighters Endowment via Teespring. On December 12th- I saw a new t-shirt campaign: “San Francisco Fire 49 Engine”. This was one of three I have seen Shane Parkins launch since we dissolved the Officers Club.

Into The Smoke

"Kevin O'Toole and Ethan Sorrell were trapped in a house fire on February 24th, 2012 in Prince Georges County Maryland. They were both riding Truck Company 9 of the Bladensburg Volunteer Fire Department responding to a reported house fire in the first due response area of a closed firehouse. After making entry, conditions rapidly deteriorated causing Kevin and Ethan to be trapped and severely injured.

SO, I resigned my position that night. Bob Gard did as well. Rhett and Andrew stayed on because Shane promised some answers to the finances within two weeks. They (Rhett and Andrew) were our only remaining link to solving the puzzle of scam vs. poor management.
