You can't be 100% committed to this profession and not become emotionally attached. My Pride in and for the job sometimes allows my emotion to spill over to my writing. I allow it to happen in hopes that the honesty in my stories may have a positive impact on another Brother or Sister out there somewhere.

Alive and well
TRUST ME ... it's NOT an easy thing to do. Especially in a Department like ours. I'll go back to those two words.... TRAINING and DISCIPLINE. I applaud the effort and calls our guys are making out here on the street ... they're getting it RIGHT and our members are going home the next morning.

I guess Rhett and I were kinda like the FoxFire "booth babes". I say that for several reasons. One of the reasons is because we were wearing kilts. Not dresses ... kilts (it's defined by what you ARE or are NOT wearing under em ...lol). Not just any kilt either. We were wearing our custom kilts from ALT KILT.

As a Company, we live, eat and play together. Because of that, we are united and that enables us to fight together (fire fighting). Now, we've added another level to our bond of Brotherhood and have attended Church together. We've prayed together and this past Sunday, even received Communion together.
